L'Antenato - L'Antenato

But don't worry, there's always room for music. This Friday a "Best of" was published, which should not be missing in my collection. Amy Macdonald's career spans ten years from the great success of This Is The Life to the younger Under Star's success with Women Of The World: The Best of 2007-2018.

Amy Macdonald, as this blogs can testify, is an artist to whom I have a special bond. For me it was a kind of beginning of my journey on the constant search for new music. I leave room for the music with this new content in the record, which bears exactly the title Woman Of The World. The last day has come and as I have been doing for three years, I am releasing a list of the best albums of this year 2017, which has just ended.

Not because it was a bad year of good music, on the contrary, I had to "sacrifice" someone who found room for an honourable mention after the award-winning albums and artists. For those of you who want a more complete overview of all the new albums I've heard this year, you can find them all here: 2017.

Actually, there are other albums that didn't have a place on this blogs, maybe they will find it in the future or not. Let me begin with the return of Amy Macdonald and her new Under Stars five years after the last one. The most precious album: Semper FeminaLaura Marling è semipre Laura Marling.

Cannot many albums go through here, but every time Lana Del Rey is here, I can't go back. Desire For Life is one of the best in Del Rey who has managed not to fall into the temptation of being a popular comedian. The best folk album: The Fairest Flower of WomankindThe skills of Lindsay Strow and his search for this kind of conceptual record are extraordinary.

A folk book in the truest sense of the word that brought me closer than ever to the traditional song from all over the channel. The best country album: All America MadeMargo Price's second record confirms her as one of the best female songwriters with an unmistakable style. The Weather StationThe best singer/songwriter albumThe return of Tamara Lindeman, more and more relaxed away from the noises of the people, is certain and convincing.

An uninterrupted stream of consciousness in which his whole personality comes to the surface is his eponymous work. The american singer-songwriter produces an excellent record. The English threesome returns to the scene with an Album that confirms all his talent. With Truth Is A Beautiful Thing, they don't risk anything, but strengthen their electro-pop influence off the charts.

The debut of Aubrie Sellers is an albums I always like to listen to. Best expanded game: South Texas SuiteNon postevo neemmeno includes Whitney Rose. His South Texas Suite EP awaited his new Rule 62 record. These albums went through a "long" selection, but other releases couldn't be missing, which I ruled out just because the places were limited.

Beginning with the popular beginnings of Emily Mae Winters (Siren Serenade), Rosie Hood (The Beautiful & The Actual) and Patch & The Giant (All That We Had, We Stole). This 2017 longplayer was phase of the moon of satisfaction and new deed. This year it's Amy Macdonald's turn. The song is called This Christmas Day and is dedicated to his grandmother, who had Alzheimer's disease.

I' ve been waiting for this moment for five years, so much so that I spent the time on Life In A Beautiful Light, the third record by Scottish singer and songwriter Amy Macdonald. Last week Under Stars, his new record, was released after endless waiting. When I started listening to music as much as in those years, I owe it to her in a certain way.

So if this blogs goes on like this all the time, I owe it to those five years I've been waiting for this one. To fool the waiting, I listened to more, but I never forgot Amy Macdonald. I remember hearing Life In A Beautiful Lights on the train when I came back from the first days of work in a hot summer.

This Under Stars was delayed, but finally arrived. Under Stars is an appealing song that reminds us that, despite the distances, we are all under the same sky. Unna delle mie preferite di questo Album e sono tante, Remember, "In your lifetime you must find your foot / In your lifetime you must dare to daydream / Don't fear / We still loves you / You still sense it even if we are far apart / You live under stars and stripes".

With Automatic, Amy Macdonald shares with us the enthusiasm to travel the world with sincerity and simplicity. The next one, Down By The Water, lets us listen to a new Macdonald, almost soulful. This is Uno dei sin ui brandi di siù tocccanti ed in questo albums non il sololo, "I tried to call you, but you didn't listen / Dark sensation what you're doing here / Where's your newborn?

I don't know, if it's Yes or No from me, but / All You do is being hold me back / Standing and on the water's edge / Dreaming of a better place / I' would feel those again / I'd Feel the again air" (je sens de l'air à nouveau), c'est-à-dire un albums, etco, qui est une sorte de lexique de ce qui suit, que je sais, je n'arrive jamais à le deviner, à le reconnaître, à le reconnaître, à le reconnaître, à le reconnaître, à le reconnaître, à le reconnaître ou à le reconnaître.

With Never To Laate Amy Macdonald scores a low blow against our weak hearts.

A mature song, that kind of song I would have liked to find in the new record and here it is.

Tunto quot, "Come rains, come sunshine / You're always happily / Your dream, it hasn't come True / What the hell is happening to you / Are you awaiting the call / I don't think they've come through everything / Be like me / Get ready for the case / Get ready for the case".

All my hope and my memory are blown in the breeze / I have begun with nothing and am back / The little things in my live are free / The little things like you and me / And like loving, like loving, like loving, like loving".

After years of listening to the new songs from the videos of several concerts all over Europe, Under Star is back. Under this smile and her blue eyes (and a few more tattoos) I found an inspired Amy Macdonald with a great desire to be good. There is no more beautiful record than the other, but Under Star is definitely the one in which the songs are embedded, there is more cohesion between them than in the past.

This is the first record where Amy Macdonald didn't write all the songs on her own and that enriched her colour palette. Among celebrities is repeated for the rest of the year and beyond. I just hope the next record doesn't have to wait like this.

One of the first articles in this blogs is an article that tells my discovery of the Scottish singer and songwriter Amy Macdonald in 2011. This moment was a turning point in my musical research as I was the first woman to join my favorite music. From that moment on I began to consume music that the people who read this blogs know well.

The first This Is The Life was not left alone for long and a few weeks later I heard A Curious Thing. The following year Amy Macdonald released Life In A Beautiful Light and I immediately listened to it and checked it out. From that moment on the waiting for the fourth record began. It took four years until Amy Macdonald was heard again with a new song.

This week he announced Under Stars, the new record that will be released on 17 February next year, five years after the last edition of Time In A Beautiful Light. What I have heard from the recordings of these years and from this new track seems to me to notice the greater maturity with which Macdonald faces this return.

I like Down By The Water and I am convinced that this record can be a step forward for one of the artists for whom I have always had a weakness. Welcome back, dear Amy, I hope Under Stars is worth all these five years of waiting. In the meantime, I'm trying to keep up with the latest albums in my collection.

Lately I've been fighting to resist, and I've been throwing myself at everything that's happening to me, so I've collected a few albums to unload. Some new releases are coming out at the end of the month and in September, but there is still one record I've been waiting for for four years. But it seems that Amy Macdonald's new record will be released early next year.

Last year the three English sisters Staveley-Taylor, Emily, Jessica and Camilla released a great record titled If I Was and this year they wanted to repeat themselves with a three-stage EP titled Sleeping ln A Car. A while ago I searched for music video from Patch & The Giant on Youtube and found some livesessions from Under The Apple Tree.

Of the related video I tried to hear another folk performer coming from the same canal. I got a lot of excitement from the UK singer-songwriter Kelly Oliver with the track Far From Home. Immediately I was gripped by the crystal clear vocals and the pulled guitars (I like it so much).

Even though their styles are very similar to a kind of folk music that is not exactly my thing, I still wanted to hear their début record This Land, which was released in October last year. Opened the record The Walkern Walk, a wonderful, vibrant folk track that recounts the history of a sorceress.

From the first track you can appreciate Kelly Oliver's voice skills and her classical style, which is the main focus of the whole album: "And I call on you as well as the Witch of Walkern. /she was brought to justice and then pardoned royally. /I am as innocent as they are, I can show that this is not right, /I can say the Lord's prayer".

Also included in this track is the performance of Luke Jackson. Although this tune is reminiscent of folk music, it has a somewhat younger and more contemporary aura that makes it one of the most catchy: "And she couldn't do anything wrong for him, everything he could see / was just right for him to be with.

Oliver's vocals are soft and clear enough, in my view, to be the best interpretations of the album: "And when we are in a strange country, I watch over you, dear, with my right hands / in the hope that God could become a good man for Mary and her valiant soldier".

It looks a little rocky at the next Daughter Dear, which enchants with its chorus, the outcome of the crystal olive part, which proves its talents again and again with the harmonica: "No! Oh no, no, / no girls of mine will go across the ocean / to the delight of this young lad.

/ ) He would let you go after him, but no, / A father's affection can look beyond a young girl's dream". Mr. Officer returned to the opening piece and raised the yardstick in the finale in a twister of words and music: "Oh my goodness, Mr. Officer, I wish I hadn't seen a man in guilt / the look without showing regret in him.

It is the tune that bound me to this tape and the reason is that it is simple, melodic and lyrical. The whole magical thing lies in the girl's singing, which takes us to another tale that is pleasing to hear and to hear again: "There was a little kid. Next is a classical folk tune named Caledonia.

It' a nice rendition of a wonderful tune, although I still like the one of her countrywife Amy Macdonald: "So let me tell you that I loved you and I always think about you. / I' d know that it would make me more than sorry.

Another tender and melancholic tune, A Gelush Of Wind, recounts the eventful story of Bernadette. This is another beautiful tune to hear: "Until the end of the drama, where Bernadette lived. Kelly Oliver enchants us again and again: "Off to the open air, we go, we look high and we look deep.

Close the game with a touch of sandy beach that has a touch of rock, resulting in a fun and easy game. The Land is an autumn release that is good for any time of year. It' s difficult not to fell in love with the crystal clear vocals of Kelly Oliver and her mouth organ accordion part.

It is an outstanding début that gives you the sense that this singer-songwriter is one of those explorations you should observe for the sake of the band's music. I am sure that in the near term you will be able to expect to hear from her when she becomes a leading figure in the folk music world. And you can keep hearing this country over and over again.

I' ll let you have their music and texts, easy but lyrical tales.
