Londra, King's Road, 1971. Designer Vivienne Westwood and Malcolm McLaren, soon managers of Pistols Live, opened the Let it Rock Store, later known as Live Rock and then World's End. These were the years of the birth of the punk movement in Great Britain with all its subversive and revolutionary power, its bands, its extravagance, its strongly critical attitude towards the political and economic situation.
Michael Hoppen's photo gallery, just a few steps from King's Road, presents these images in an exhibition of Ray Stevenson's classic photographs depicting the characters, excesses and performances of the time.
